More about Jacob

Hello!

My name is Jacob, and I work as a Property Consultant/Tenant Advisor at Tenant & Partner. In my role, I focus on property procurement, which includes the rental market, finding the right premises for our clients, and, last but not least, negotiating effectively. Earlier in my career, I worked on the property owner's side managing and developing shopping centers across the Nordic region. I also worked in residential development, focusing on analysis, transactions, and financing.

One of the most enjoyable aspects of my job is the opportunity to connect with so many people. I enjoy creating connections—understanding the person I'm talking to from their perspective and being able to help in the right way. My job is, in simplified terms, a combination of economics, law, and psychology, and I really enjoy it.

In addition to stimulating tasks with knowledgeable colleagues where we collectively create value-adding workplaces—places where our clients can feel as good as possible and, in turn, create as much value as possible—I really appreciate the organisation that Tenant & Partner is. Here, the focus is on the individual because we know that if we feel good, we can be most effective. This philosophy permeates everything we do as a company. For example, we are a leaderless, self-managing organisation where a lot of responsibility and trust is placed on the individual because everyone's "best setup" looks different, and you know best what works for you. We strongly value personal development and psychological safety, and as an employee, you have the opportunity to participate in various activities, including weekly training sessions and courses in mindfulness, communication, and leadership. We are also part of a group that shares the same values as us, Work Life Group.

In my free time, I enjoy attending concerts, playing sports, spending time with friends, and being in the forest with my partner and our hunting labrador. In the fall of '23, I set a personal record when I managed to attend four concerts (!) in a single week. It was an incredible week!
